From past few days I was whining about my life and my past and my present. And I was frustrated about not having a dSLR Camera and on not getting enough 'audience' on my facebook page. But later, all that whining and frustration, became an idea to use my limited resources to show the world that the camera gear and the audience doesn't really matter. As the people say, when there is a will, there is a way.

So here I am with an idea. A Project. That I am going to do with the help of you people. I have named it "_{OLD IS BLACK}"

Why I choose this name of the project?

I was looking into some old albums and found a portfolio album of my Nana Abu(Grandfather) and when I opened it, "OLD IS BLACK" was written with a shaky hand writing as a title. The album contains a lot of photos of him and family relatives. And the IDEA clicked in my mind that lets pay a little tribute to my Grandfather, why not start a project with the name "OLD IS BLACK". Initially the idea was to collect 100Photographs and make a journal out of it, but later I decided to make the project more creative by taking 100 photos my self. </u>

As the name suggests, this project is going to be in Black&White. All the photos I will take and process will be black&white. _{As I don't have the B&W effect in my camera, I will change it in Adobe Lightroom and later process it with Adobe Photoshop.}.

In this project,
001) I will be doing 50 Portraits of random people from my university or some other place.
002) I will be doing 50 themes, each suggested by my teachers, friends, relatives, dA friends, facebook friends and also my 'fans' on my facebook page.
000) I will make a journal of these 100 photos, and I will post it online, and I might get it printed too, only if my budget allowed me to do so.

What is in it for you...
Lets start of with the basics, I want you people to post three themes per head, and I will pick one of it, I will note down your Name/Username/dA name and I will put a special thanks entry into the journal I will make. In that way, if a person love the theme, he will look down for the name of the person who thought about the theme, so, indirectly you will get exposure too.

So, this is it, OLD IS BLACK - A PROJECT, that I am too much excited to do. Now the main work of thinking about the themes is left, which depends totally on you. The rest of the determination and will of doing this project is up to me and for that I have crossed my fingers.
